Hawaii Education Matters is a non-profit, non-partisan coalition of public school parents and supporters. Our mission is to work for the improvement of Hawaii's public educational system by:
Advocating for an immediate solution to the 17 lost school days that resulted from the Friday furlough of public school teachers.
Helping parents to engage our political system and advocate for their children.
Creating a long-term coalition of parents, educators and community leaders committed to achieving excellence in public education in Hawaii.
